This app is designed to help students calculate the molar mass of a compound as well as its percent composition. Students can also explore the relationship between various quantities in creating and diluting solutions. It contains a calculator to solve for C = n/v and C₁V₁ = C₂V₂."

Features
- Helps teach chemistry to science and engineering students, or even senior high school level.
-User can enter in a chemical formula and see its molar mass and percent composition
- Includes a calculator to solve for an unknown quantity in the ideal gas law
- Allows you to enter all the known variables in the equation and it solves for the unknown quantity.
- User can select various units of measurement when using the calculator
Long-form version of the above features:
This app is designed to help students check what the molar mass is for a given compound. The app will provide a breakdown of the compound showing how many atoms of each element are present and the percent composition of each element.

The app also features a calculator where the given quantities of C=n/V can be entered in and the last unknown value can be determined. The quantities can be entered in a variety of different units. To further understand the concept, users can also calculate how much stock solution or solvent they would need for a dilution.

This app is useful to individuals who are interested in learning about chemistry aimed at the early undergraduate and senior high school level. It helps solidify concepts and provides a calculator for students to check their work with the correct units.

How to Use the App

Learn about the Molar Mass Calculator by clicking through each of the tabs
Molar Mass
Enter in a chemical formula and calculate its molar mass. Its percent composition and the number of atoms for each element will be displayed
Molarity
Press on the textbox to enter in the give values
After two of them are entered, the last one can be solved for
Switch between units of measurement at the bottom of each text box
Dilution
Press on the textbox to enter in the give values
After three of them are entered, the last one can be solved for
Switch between units of measurement at the bottom of each text box
See how much of a stock solution or solvent you would need to perform the dilution.
